Spearheading the project, the innovative musician/artist Benjamin Woods fronts the band on Flamenco guitar and brutal thrash vocals sung in English and Spanish. Not only writing the bulk of the music, but also the horror stories behind the performances, as well as doing all of the artwork, he is the musical and artistic director for FLAMETAL. He can be found most nights playing as a professional flamenco guitarist/accompanist for authentic Flamenco performances in California and abroad. Benjamin is proudly endorsed by Cordoba guitars.

Thomas "The Hammer" Perry , the band's driving backbone contributes his fresh drumming style and master percussion skills influenced by a variety of all types of music. When not working with FLAMETAL, Thomas plays drums in the bay area bands Pockit and Lost Ticket and teaches drums and bass guitar full time. Thomas on myspace

Brian "Lazer" Spalding, from Hawaii gives the band their defining metal edge on electric guitar. A disciple of Uli John Roth [ and George Benson,] his style is complex, strange and flashy, with superb technique. A guitar god in his own right, he has long-time fans from his earlier projects [ Arronsrod, Black Rose, ] and Churchfield.

Angeline Saris, Angeline joined Flametal as the sole bass player shortly before the recording of the second album, "Master of the Aire." Her jazz background helps to create a melodic element to her bass style, while still holding down an impenetrable and assaulting metal pocket. Angeline keeps busy as one of the most versatile and ubiquitous freelance bass players in the San Francisco Bay Area, playing with a multitude of bands in studio and out live. Angeline is proudly endorsed David Eden amplification. Angeline on myspace

Drawing from a wide range of styles, he is the most wanted player in the bay area, appearing on albums such as Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, AND being the bassist for not only FLAMETAL, but the great WHITESNAKE, The Family Stone, and Lyrics Born as well. Uriah appears on the album "The Elder" and the song "Anda Jaleo", and the Flemtal PR tour in Japan 2007. uriah is proudly endorsed by David Eden amplification, and Tone Tubby speakers. Bio:

FLAMETAL are pioneering a new genre, the first of its kind, the unholy union of harmony and rhythm. The music is based off flamenco rhythms and tonalities, super-heated with blinding shred metal from a band of professional and virtuosic, musical madmen! FLAMETAL is breaking away from the usual. Instead, Flametal's performances are unlike any other, with Flamenco guitar and sometime flamenco dancers. You will see and hear ferocious musicianship, swirling flamenco rhythms, as well as fleet-fingered dual guitar-shredding delivering spine-crushing, metal brutality!

Flamenco is centered around the Spanish style of singing: Cante flamenco, and real Metal is usually associated with ear-bleeding high volumes and violent attitude. Although brutal, and rhythmically correct, FLAMETAL is neither flamenco nor metal in the simplest of terms. Rather, it's the best of both worlds, enhancing each other's rich beauty and dark decadence. Behold as you can actually hear and see the music, burning white hot with passion and woven in a web of pure evil!
